The final day of the #NZSBK championship was a day of some great battles during the sidecar races, with the boys managing to repair a broken( and missing) gear lever after this mornings race they went into race two and continually swapped leads with visiting UK rider Ben Bygrave and local passenger Stu Dawe, with Ben narrowly taking the win and Colin/Robbie in a close second.
Fortunes were reversed again in today's Race 3, again swapping the lead multiple times over the 8 laps but this time the #carlcoxmotorsport pairing rode amazingly and took 1st place:)
Onto prize giving and we're very pleased to officially announce that Colin Buckley and Robbie Shorter have now been awarded the title of #1NZ and the championship win!
It's now onto Australia as we fly the Kiwi flag on behalf of the NZ sidecar paddock for the #BarrySheene festival of speed 17-20 of March alongside our Historic Period 4/6 solo bikes, for the first time ever running at the same event.
We'd like to thank the amazing support we've received over the NZ season from all those in the paddock, and in particular TT Kiwis, T.T. Motorcycles, Electric Designs and of course our founder, Carl Cox- now let's get ready to hop over the ditch for some sidecar action, Aussie style!
