It hasn't only been a massive weekend for the Carl Cox Motorsport motorcyle teams- this weekend also saw the inaugral session of our founder, Carl Cox himself behind the wheel of his totally modified Ford Capri as it took to it's first public outing to tear up the tarmac at Australia's Calder Park Raceway.
The test & tune day had Coxy run through all procedures any driver needs to know before pressing the pedal on a twin-turbo V8, and it only took a few seconds at the wheel to put a massive smile on his face and we're sure it'll return everytime he drives the amazing machine that has been created by Dandy Engines/Pro-Fab Engineering and handful of Carl's drag racing mates...
Not only did the car perform flawlessly for all the amazing people that have put in so many hours and ideas during the build process on the 400 Cubic inch, Precision Turbo'd Capri, but it also showed everyone that the car is guaranteed to be turning some heads when it arrives at it's first Australian Pro Street Association meeting ;)
The car will be undergoing further development over the next while, but already Coxy is watching the clock and counting down till the next time he can put this one down the strip... We reckon time will start going past a little bit quicker for him after each and every run!
Stay tuned for where and when you can check out the car up close 'n' personal- but in the meantime, here's a sneak peek at Carl laying down some big rubber instead of big tunes ;)
