The NZ Suzuki Series is now complete, and Carl Cox Motorsport is proud to again be associated with another great event in the form of the final round at the legendary Cemetery Circuit in Wanganui with World Champion TimReeves, and which we've been lucky enough to have captured by those talented individuals at TT Kiwis.
Thanks to Carl Cox Motorsport passenger Robbie Shorter who kindly jumped on the platform for the final round of the Suzuki Series, Mark Wilkes is now able to accept his series winners trophies and will be returning home to the UK as the 2015 Suzuki Series NZ Champion, and lap record holder at 2 of the 3 circuits used in the series- with Tim Reeves taking 6 wins from 6 starts, 2 pole positions and 3 lap records, the final one being with passenger Robbie at Cemetery Circuit.
Thanks to the amazing people at Tauranga Hospital and the ongoing support of his family, friends and teammate Tim Reeves , we're pleased to say that Mark Wilkes has now been discharged to begin his lengthy rehabilitation in order to be able to travel home, and we'd like to thank Tim,Mark and his dad Peter for making it such a truely memorable experience having them compete in NZ under the Carl Cox Motorsport banner.
We'd like to thank all those who have contributed to the series, and also helped keep Mark smiling through his recent ordeal, and now look forward to the commencement of the NZ Superbike Championship in which Colin Buckley and Robbie Shorter will be riding the ex Tim-Reeves Kawasaki LCR :)
There's still plenty of racing to be done this summer, but lets take a quick look at what we were part of over the Christmas holidays in the highlight reel, lovingly put together by the TT Kiwis crew!
